Welcome Rachel & Katie
Welcome Rachel Milon, our Director of Communications and Marketing.
After attending Galena High School, Rachel graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from the University of Nevada, Reno in 2001 and spent the next four years studying advertising and working at agencies in San Francisco, New York and London. In 2005, She moved to London and accepted a public relations position working for a celebrity and entertainment-based PR firm and later the U.K.’s leading property PR agency. Career-wise, it was the perfect fit, however, her work visa expired and she returned to the United States. Rachel’s first stop in 2008 was Las Vegas where she handled the PR and marketing efforts for an internationally renowned photographer. Upon returning home to Reno, she accepted a position at RKPR Inc., a local PR agency specializing in travel and tourism, working with various clients including the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF), the Lake Tahoe Shakespeare Festival and ARTown. In April, Rachel opened the doors of her company, Quick Brown Fox PR, where she worked with a range of clients in arts and entertainment, fashion and beauty, new technology and home restoration.
Welcome Katie Lewis, our new Curatorial Assistant and Exhibition Coordinator.
Originally from Reno, Katie Lewis received her MFA in Fine Arts from California College of the Arts and her BA from the Colorado College. She relocated from San Francisco where she was the Program Manager for the Foundation Studies Program at California College of the Arts. She has worked for various other arts organizations such as Aurobora Press, Anderson Ranch Arts Center, O’Brien Graphics and the Aspen Art Museum.
